Diabetics at Whataburger

Diabetics need to be a bit cautious while dining at Whataburger. Almost every burger is rich in sodium content and it is highly recommended to keep your burger cravings in control while dining at Whataburger. However, you can always satisfy your cravings for a burger by choosing Whataburger Jr. or other non-burger items from the menu.

A diabetic should resist from ordering any extra meat-based burger such as Double Meat Whataburger or Triple Meat Whataburger to limit the sodium intake and calories. Most burgers except the Whataburger Jr. are high in sodium and hence should be avoided.

I absolutely this location! Extremely fast drive-thru experience. They always place any extras that are needed in the bag - without having to ask in advanced or after. The food; is fresh and packaged imppressively. This is my favorite place to drive-in and order from.

Great drink machine. They hook it up on the soft serve. Food was what we expected. Decent BK overall.

Simply thee worst Burger King in the world... it gives the word fast food a new meaning... I ordered a simple order of food and had to wait about 20 minutes. Not all staff that handles food wears gloves... The manager is very ghetto and unprofessional... employees spend more time texting than taking orders...the tables, floors, and the bathrooms are very dirty! Spent about 30 minutes there (20 waiting for the food) and did not see one employee cleaning! i dont think this would ever happened in McDonald's... the ONLY good thing about it is the new soda machine... No wonder Wendy's is taking the 2nd largest Burger chain in the world! BK should really pay attention to whom they franchise to! No wonder the one in Loehman's Plaza and Aventura shut down... I never see a McDonald's or a Wendy's that is shutting down.

Went to this place today at 4:45 pm, didn't leave until 5:15pm and I was at the drive thru to go faster!! The person at the window tells me 6.80...so I hand him a 20. I get my 13.20 back and he closes the window, pulls out his phone and starts reading and texting. Meanwhile I look inside and I see 4 employees, 1 working the line and 3(1 was the assistant manager) chatting in a corner. 2 minutes go by and the guy at the window opens it and tells me 6.80...dude I just gave you the money and you gave me change, where's my food? he closes the window and disappears. 10 minutes later, the ass...manager comes out, gives me my food and says 6:80...I say, hey I just paid the other guy....she says, then thats not your food if you don't pay. I said, hey lady I just paid and here's my change(showed her)...whats wrong with you...call the guy and ask him. She says, its not your food. The guy shouts from far away, yeah he paid, and she starts chewing him out for not doing I don't know what procedure at the register. When I get home, one of the sandwiches was missing items. Don't waste your time in this crap, go to McDonalds!!!

I like to think of myself as a fast-food connoisseur. My limited budget and appetite for things I know will eventually clog my veins and kill me always leads me to eating at far too many fast-food joints. You don't expect much from these places, but honestly there's only so much incompetence someone can take. With a mean post Super Bowl hangover me and two of my close friends ventured out for some alcohol absorbing grease patties. BK was the obvious choice. I mean, its the King. You can't go wrong with the King. Or can you? We park the car, and walk into an empty restaurant. I stare at the menu and decide since BK has been marketing this Texas Whopper as THE MANWICH I should get one, as this WAS the manliest weekend ever... and what better way to top if off than with what's been hyped as an 800 calorie trip to ultimate-mandom? I walk to the counter and I'm given a blank stare from what resembles an ogre. I place my order for a Texas Whopper meal. The ogre pounds on the register and types it in, tells me how much, and I fork over some cash. My friends place their orders.... now the fun begins. To be totally honest, I didn't feel the brunt of the incompetence of this staff. My friend Tim did, and I'm sure he'll vent his frustrations in his review, but I'll go into everything wrong. The ogre moves at the speed of sludge. It baffles me how it can take 6 minutes to turn around, and look at a screen to see what food goes where. And how long do you think you'd need to work at a fast food place to know that if someone orders a value meal they get a drink cup with it, I dunno.... 10 seconds... maybe 5, but anyway, the ogre needed to be reminded THREE TIMES, once for each of us. I get my food eventually, and sit in a booth, I unwrap my ticket to ultimate-mandom and what do I get.... a sloppy, soggy, mess. Whoever made this sandwich must have a depth perception problem, the ability to stack ingredients neatly should be mandatory for employees. Not only did I get a DOUBLE Texas Whopper (I ordered a singe btw), but there was mayo, and mustard and lettuce, and onions all over the place... I had to reverse engineer the thing just to achieve enough structural stability to get the thing to my mouth. The bun was so wet someone might as well have dunked it in a sink. It was gross. GROSS. Ok enough with the sandwich. I'm halfway through eating the thing... Tim still doesn't have his food. Its been at least 10 minutes (he ordered the same thing I did). The ogre wanders about while he tries to get her attention. She eventually acknowledges him and he says "I didn't get my order" she says "oh sorry", and then stacks random sandwiches on a tray and gives it to him... "that's not my order" ... she does the same thing again ... "nope, I ordered this" .... the people on the line hadn't made his food yet. Eventually he gets his food... same thing, toppling tower of soggy shit. And FINALLY, before we left we had one more order to place. My friend walks up to the counter to order a sandwich for his girlfriend who had stayed at his apartment. The ogre stares at him blankly and turns away, he says in a low voice "Hi, I'd just like to exchange my money for some goods-and-services please" the ogre turns and looks ready to take his order. As my friend begins to say "I'd like..." one of the other employees walks in from her (I'm assuming) cigarette-break with two basketballs. She says "I got these signed by Magic Johnson" the ogre proceeds to bounce the basketball on the counter ignoring her customer for about 2 minutes while she chats about Wal Mart. I cannot stress how deplorable the service is here. The food is SHIT, the management is SHIT, and the whole goddamn place is SHIT. Never goto this BK

I don't even want to give this place a star. I was there with Joe G. and was the friend who was left waiting for nearly 15 minutes. I have respect for people of all walks of life, profession, race, creed, or gender, but when I don't get my burger within AT LEAST 5 minutes, I tend to get a little pissed. I also don't enjoy being treated as if I am annoying an employee when all I am doing is simply asking , excuse me, telling said employee what I had ordered roughly 15 minutes ago. After receiving three trays of incorrect orders, I was ready to jump over the counter and throw this person in the deep fryer. I also don't enjoy being looked at as if I had just asked if they had any space alien fetus' I could have along with my whopper. I was extremely hungover and haggard but I treat people with respect and sadly I did so in this situation as well. I did however in my head think about jumping up on the counter and dropping a whopper of my own on the register. I'm a nice guy, all I ask for is respect and timely service, even if you are overloaded, its cool , I know how it is, I don't like incompetence and regrettably that was the only thing I mumbled under my breath as I walked away to my soggy piece of shit. I did not have it my way. If I had it my way I would have been passing firefighters as I was leaving this hellhole. I love BK but not this one. We called the corporate hotline to complain while we were delayed at the airport and of course all we got were voice recordings and computer menu's. I think even the King would have been a little ticked. Horrible service + rude employees + poor food = angry customers who yelp. It's really not a hard formula to follow people.
